中文摘要: 传染病问题的数学建模与理论分析是探索传染病传播机理、探讨传染病有效防控的重要手段,近年来这个手段在解决实际问题中得到广泛应用。本项目拟研究具有实际背景(如医学或生态背景)的年龄结构传染病模型的动力学行为,如解的存在性、局部稳定性、一致持续生存性、全局稳定性和Hopf分支等,试图发展动力系统和一阶双曲型偏微分方程的定性理论和研究方法,为实际问题的处理提供定量依据。这是微分方程定性及生物数学研究中的热门课题,具有前沿性和探索性。

英文摘要: Mathematical modeling and analysis of infectious disease is an important tool to explore the mechanism of transmission and the effective strategies of preventing and controlling of infectious diseases. This method is widely applied to solve practical problems in recent years. This project will study the dynamics of age-structured epidemic models with practical background (such as medical or ecological background), for example,the existence of the solutions, local stability, uniform persistence, global stability and Hopf bifurcation etc. This project attempts to develop qualitative theory and method of dynamical system and first-order hyperbolic partial differential equation, and to provide quantitative basis to deal with the practical problems. This is a hot research topic in differential equations and mathematical biology, which is frontier and exploratory.
