中文摘要: 布尔网络模型在神经网络、蛋白质或基因调控网络、生物进化、甚至社会群体行为等众多的研究领域有着广泛的应用,是生物物理学、计算机、系统与控制科学等学科领域所共同关注的交叉前沿课题。本项目致力于研究布尔网络系统动力学分析与控制中的几个关键问题:讨论异步随机更新规则和具有记忆效应的更新规则下,布尔网络的吸引子、吸引盆及盆熵的解析刻画和计算方法,探讨随机性导致的吸引盆交叠现象。建立确定性和概率布尔网络耦合系统的同步性条件,揭示网络耦合拓扑结构对系统同步行为的影响,探讨同步性在网络结构参数辨识方面的应用。建立布尔控制网络的状态观测器的条件,给出输出动态反馈镇定控制方法,讨论布尔控制网络的最优控制和干扰解耦方法,以及概率布尔控制网络的稳态分布控制方法。

英文摘要: Boolean networks have significant applications in a wide range of problems arising in academic study and engineering, such as neural networks, protein or gene regulatory networks, biological evolution, and even social swarm behaviors etc. This project is devoted to investigating several basic issues concerning analysis and control of Boolean networks. It will analyze dynamics of random Boolean networks under asynchronous stochastic update or with memory effect, giving characterization and evaluation of the attractors, basins, and basin entropy, examining the basin overlap phenomenon due to complex update rules. It will also study synchronization in coupled deterministic or probabilistic Boolean networks, establishing conditions of synchronization and exploring approaches to the issue of network parameter identification through synchronization. For deterministic as well as probabilistic Boolean control networks, it will consider the construction of state observers and their conditions, and then develop methods for output feedback stabilization of the network systems. Moreover, the problems of optimal control, disturbance decoupling, and steady state distribution control will also be addressed. The study will provide new insights and effective approach for analysis and control of Boolean dynamics.
