中文摘要: 针对基于张量积小波、张量积提升小波、二维不可分小波等多尺度分析图像融合方法的不足,本项目拟提出基于二维不可分提升小波的图像融合方法。首先,针对二元Laurent多项式不存在带余除法,一维小波变换提升方法不能直接推广到二维,目前还未见有人从定义多相位矩阵出发对已有的二维不可分小波进行提升的研究等问题,本项目拟探讨二维不可分提升小波的构造,提出二维不可分小波提升方案,把目前已有的二维不可分小波进行提升。其次,把上述提升方案应用于图像融合。探索多聚焦图像、多光谱图像和红外与可见光图像的融合方法,并对其融合性能进行主客观分析和评价。预计该方法能获得清晰、空间分辨率高、光谱偏差小、边缘信息丰富、无方块效应的融合结果图像;相对于基于二维不可分小波的融合方法,该方法有较快的融合速度,可实现实时融合;该方法能实现真正意义的整数到整数的变换。本研究不仅创新了二维小波理论,而且促进了图像融合算法的丰富和发展。

英文摘要: In order to solve the deficiencies in the image fusion methods based on multi-resolution analysis such as separable wavelet transform, separable lifting wavelet transform, nonseparable wavelet transform, this project will propose an image fusion method based on nonseparable lifting wavelet. Firstly, the division with remainder of polynomials does not exist in the case of the bivariate polynomial, as a result the multiphase matrix of two-dimensional nonseparable wavelet cannot be decomposed into lifting format as one-dimensional wavelet transform performed, and it has not been seen that the two-dimensional lifting scheme based on the existed nonseparable wavelet filter banks. In order to solve the problems mentioned above, this research project will explore the construction of two-dimensional nonseparable lifting wavelet, present the lifting scheme of this kind of wavelet transform, and lift the existed nonseparable wavelet filter bank. Secondly, the image fusion methods based on this lifting scheme will be proposed. The algorithms will be explored for the fusion of multi-focus images, multi-spectral images, and visible and infrared images. The performance of the image fusion will be evaluated by using subjective and objective indices. The fusion resulting images with clarity, high spatial resolution, small spectral deviation, rich edge information, and no block effect will be achieved. When compared with the fusion method based on two-dimensional nonseparable wavelet transform, the proposed fusion method has a faster fusion speed, and the real-time image fusion can be realized. This study not only contributes to the theory of two-dimensional wavelet transform, but also promotes the application and development of image fusion.
