中文摘要: 闪烁会导致光信息的传输出现误码现象,从而限制了其在光通信等领域的应用。因此,降低光束在湍流中的闪烁成为了一个重要的研究内容。近来,激光在海洋中的传输、成像引起了人们的兴趣,人们也逐渐认识到研究激光束受到海洋湍流影响的必要性。本项目拟对不同轨道角动量的涡旋光束通过海洋湍流传输后的闪烁指数进行研究。一方面,从理论角度研究涡旋光束(包含拉盖尔-高斯涡旋光束和高阶贝塞尔-高斯光束)的相干性、偏振情况以及拓扑荷数对闪烁指数的影响,进而通过合理调制上述光束参数有效降低涡旋光束在海洋湍流传输过程中的闪烁。另一方面,拟对涡旋光束通过海洋湍流传输后的闪烁指数进行实验测量与研究,以验证理论结果。该项目的研究结果在海洋光通信以及海洋成像方面具有重要的理论意义和应用价值。

英文摘要: The scintillation would lead to the error of optical information transmission, which limits its application in optical communication and other fields. Therefore, to reduce the scintillation of beams propagating in turbulence has become an important research content. Recently, the transmission, imaging of laser beam in the oceanic water aroused people's interest, people gradually realized the necessity to study the influences of oceanic turbulence on the laser beam. In this project, the scintillation of vortex beams carrying different orbital momentum propagating in oceanic turbulence is investigated theoretically and experimentally. On the one hand, we numerically study the influences of the coherence, the polarization and topological charge of vortex beams (including Laguerre-Gaussian beam and high order Bessel-Gauss beam) on the scintillation and how to modulate the above beam parameters to reduce the scintillation of vortex beams propagating in oceanic turbulence. On the other hand, we investigate the scintillation of vortex beams propagating in oceanic turbulence experimentally, and measure the scintillations to demonstrate the theoretical results. These studies have theoretical and practical significance in optical communication, imaging systems involving oceanic turbulent.
