中文摘要: 蓝光激光器在水下光通信、海洋资源探测、高密度光存储、激光光谱学、激光制冷等领域具有广泛的应用前景。二极管泵浦碱金属蒸汽蓝光激光器,具有体积小、增益系数高、易于流动散热、光束质量好等优点,研究高效且具有可放大性的二极管泵浦碱金属蓝光激光器具有极为重要的科学意义和应用价值,已成为当前世界范围内的研究热点。本项目提出一种双光子泵浦蓝光XPAL(准分子宽带泵浦碱金属激光器)新机制。通过对准分子相互作用势机理的研究,建立最适于双光子泵浦蓝光XPAL的准分子体系。旨在对准分子吸收光谱、荧光谱、小信号增益研究的基础上,完善蓝光XPAL动力学模型特征参数,并优化设计激光器谐振腔结构等起振条件,最终实现双光子泵浦蓝光XPAL的出光演示。由于采用惰性气体与第一电子激发态的铷或铯形成准分子,远远大于其与基态铷或铯的结合能,吸收系数更大,可提高泵浦效率,因此预期输出激光比传统XPAL的可放大性更好,应用前景广阔。

英文摘要: Blue laser has wide applications in fields of submarine optical communication, marine resource exploration, high-density optical storage, laser spectroscopy and laser cooling etc.. Diode pumped alkali blue laser (DPABL) has the advantages of compact volume, high gain coefficient, convenient heat management and high beam quality, therefore it has great scientific impacts and application values to develop high efficiency and scalable DPABL, and this field becomes one of the hot-spot researches worldwide. This project intends to study the two-photon excimer-pumped alkali blue laser (XPABL). By studying the mechanism of excimer interaction potential, an optimum excimer system for the two-photon XPABL will be established. After studies of excimer absorption spectrum , fluorescence spectrum and small signal gain, the characteristic parameters of XPABL dynamic model will be consummated, also the optimum laser cavity will be designed, in order to demonstrate XPABL. In comparison with fundamental states rubidium and cesium atoms, atoms excited to nP3/2,1/2 state show stronger interaction with inert gas atoms, which is believed to give blue-beam XPAL much better pump light absorption efficiency and scalability than traditional XPAL.
