中文摘要: 非局域光孤子具有很多优越的性质,在复杂的光网络和全光控制系统中有着良好的应用前景。以往对非局域光孤子的理论研究多针对于理想化的非局域模型。本项目将主要针对实际中存在的非局域非线性介质理论模型(例如向列相液晶和铅玻璃)中多极光孤子的传输动力学进行深入细致的理论研究,包括解析研究和数值研究。主要内容包括:1.给出实际存在的非局域非线性介质模型中多极光孤子的解析形式,并研究其传输动力学行为,包括不同非局域类型、不同非局域程度、不同介质形状对光孤子的影响,光孤子存在的稳定性等;2.研究非临界功率(孤子功率)入射时,实际非局域介质中呼吸子的呼吸效应及其传输轨迹;3.研究广义多极孤子在非局域非线性介质中的传输变化。4.研究双孤子及多孤子相互作用时的传输轨迹及其控制理论。基于上述研究内容,探讨非局域多极光孤子在全光网络、全光开关、信息处理器件等方面的应用。

英文摘要: Nonlocal optical solitons exhibit many unique and important properties, which can be applied in the construction of complex nonlinear optical networks and novel all-optical control systems. In previous work, almost all the theoretical investigations focus on the ideal nonlocal models. In this project, we will investigate, using the analytical method and the numerical simulation method, the propagation dynamics of multipole solitons in actual nonlocal nonlinear media, such as nematic liquid crystals and lead glasses. The main contents are as follows: 1. The propagation dynamics of multipole solitons in actual nonlocal nonlinear media will be studied, especially the effects of different nonlocal types, different degrees of nonlocality, different shapes of nonlocal smaples. The stability of nonlocal solitons will be also studied. 2. We will investigate the breath effect and the propagation trajectory of the breathers in actual nonlocal media when the input power is not equal to the critical/soliton power. 3. The propagation properties of general multipole solitons in strongly nonlocal media will be studied, we will try to reveal the physical origin of their formation and seek the control methods. 4.
