中文摘要: 本项目针目前对倾斜对流参数化方案的不足,尝试采用倾斜对流有效位能(SCAPE)释放的闭合假设,并使用最新的SCAPE计算方法,提出一种使倾斜对流与垂直对流之间的协调性更好,适用范围更广的倾斜对流参数化方案。以现有的Kain-Fritsch方案为基础,将倾斜对流参数化方案引入到我国数值预报模式GRAPES模式中。利用天气个例对改进方案进行数值模拟检验,并对倾斜对流参数化方案中的关键参数进行敏感性试验。研究分析关键参数在模式中的作用,以及倾斜对流与其他物理过程之间的协调性,获取适用于我国天气特征的合理参数取值,优化改进参数化方案,从而为提高GRAPES的预报性能提供科学依据。

英文摘要: In order to make up the weaknesses of the current slantwise convective parameterization scheme, this project is going to study a new scheme of slantwise convective parameterization which has better interactional relationship between the vertical convection and slantwise convection, and which is more suitable for high resolution NWP model than the old scheme. The advance slantwise convective parameterization scheme assumes that convection eliminates the environment Slantwise Convective Available Potential Energy (SCAPE) over an advective time, which is similar to the assumption used in the Kain-Fritcsh cumulus parameterization. The calculation of SCAPE is based on the new method derived in a three dimensions parcel theory by Gray in 2001. The advance scheme will be accomplished in GRAPES model based on the Kain-Fritsch cumulus parameterization. Using the unified vertical-slantwise convective parameterization scheme, several experiments should be carried out to verify the unified scheme compared with the observations. Furthermore, some sensitive tests that investigate the effect of some key parameters are also undertaken to get optimum value range of the key parameters used in the GRAPES model under the china local weather condition.
