中文摘要: 细胞在真实的生物矿化过程中发挥着不可替代的作用,我们认为细胞是通过其分泌的细胞外基质对无机矿物的形成进行调控。在本研究中我们高度重视细胞外基质对细胞自身矿化行为的影响。通过含有特定官能团的有机分子来模拟生物基质的功能并研究它们对不同细胞表面矿化能力的改变,揭示了矿化动力学开关的分子机理。在此理解的基础上,我们通过高分子材料在细胞外表面的吸附,精确控制了细胞参与下各类矿化的发生位点及细胞矿化能力,实现了基于材料化学的细胞表面改造。通过和不同功能材料复合,改造后的细胞具有抗紫外线、抗热等特性,具有重要的科学研究价值。

英文摘要: It is widely accepted that the living cells play a critical role in natural biomineralization processes. We suggested that it is the extracellular matrix that regulates the biological formations of inorganic minerals directly. In this study, we emphasized the effects of extracellular matrix on the surface modification of living cells. By using different organic molecules as the model system of the extracellular matrix, we mimicked the control of cellular mineralization in situ, revealing the molecular mechanism of the biomineralization switch for the kinetic controls. Base upon our findings, we control and regulate the cellular mineralization and its skills by using the adsorption of polyelectrolyte molecules onto the cell surfaces, which indicated remodeling of living cells by using functional materials. The formed cell-material hybrids by using cellular mineralization had some amazing functions.
