中文摘要: 本项目以城市交通系统中车辆跟驰行驶为研究的出发点,重点研究不同交通态势下驾驶安全区域的分布规律、危险范围的界定方法以及相关的实验测试与仿真验证,构建基于安全区域的车辆跟驰模型并进行车辆跟驰行驶的驾驶可信性定量分析,以期为驾驶辅助系统与车辆安全性设计提供理论依据,开拓出交通流理论研究的新范畴。本项目的主要研究成果包括: 揭示出安全车速、安全车距、安全区域与行车时间的定量关系,构建了车辆行驶的纵向、横向位移与综合安全距离的计算模型,提出了不同交通态势下车辆行驶危险区域的界定方法,建立了基于不同驾驶安全特征的车辆接近模型,给出了分析车辆行驶可信性的理论体系和方法模型,定量研究了人车单元与弱势交通参与者的内在关系。在Transportation Research Part C-Emerging Technologies,Safety Science等国际学术刊物上发表SCI论文9篇,出版英文专著1部,成功举办了两次国际学术会议并建立了中德联合实验室,培养和国际联合培养研究生多名。

英文摘要: By considering the influence of adaptive cruise control strategies upon the vehicle operation under various traffic situations,we determined the distribution of safe driving zone as well asdangerous areas during the driver's car-following process in urban traffic,and some relative experiment tests and simulation validations for vehicle-to-vehicle safety interactions has been carried out in our research. The emphasis on this project is placed on the development of a driver's safety approaching behavioural model by considering the variability of following vehicle's speed to the leading vehicle's one and the relative distances among vehicles. Furthermore, we have carried out simulation and analysis of driver's deceleration and acceleration behaviour under different driving situations after identified the key safety-related parameters. Finally the developed model has been validated by using detailed vehicle trajectory data that was collected in naturalistic driving environment. The results show that the safety-based approaching behavioural model could be used to analyze driver's car-following behaviour for driving support and to reveal the essence of traffic flow characteristics at the microscopic level.
