Advanced radar technology has long been sought in the development of an observing system for large-scale, real-time, accurate measurements of precipitation. The study of the electromagnetic properties of rainfall particles has an important value for precipitation radar design. As the impact of changes of temperature, rainfall patterns and other factors is not consideration, the existing precipitation microscopic model is still not perfect. There will be theoretical research and simulation analysis of multiband/wideband electromagnetic scattering properties of precipitation particles under variable temperature conditions in this project. Establish accurate models of the three-dimensional complex precipitation particles in solid, liquid and solid-liquid mixed state, respectively; use sparse-matrix/canonical grid (SM/CG) method to efficiently calculate the scattering characteristics of precipitation particles(reduce the complexity and memory requirements of the model); study two-dimensional adaptive interpolation strategy, analysis wideband scattering characteristics of rainfall particles under variable temperature conditions;study and analyze the influence of rainfall types for rainfall particle electromagnetic characteristics. This project will further give help to provide theoretical basis and analysis methods
