中文摘要: 超热电子在高密度等离子体中的准直传输及其发散角诊断是惯性约束聚变"快点火"的重要研究内容,是决定"快点火"能否实现的关键。本项目拟针对"快点火"的现实需求,采用含碰撞的PIC程序和PIC/Fluid混合模拟程序,结合理论分析,研究超热电子在高密度等离子体中的输运过程。研究内容包括在现有PIC程序中实现Sentoku的带电粒子碰撞算法以及高阶粒子云和电磁场的插值算法、研究高密度等离子体中影响超热电子准直传输的各种相关因素并探索提高超热电子准直传输的方案,研究目前实验中诊断超热电子束的发散角时存在的问题并设计合理的实验方案,提高超热电子束诊断的准确性,为"快点火"的实验设计提供理论参考和技术支持。

英文摘要: Collimated propagation and divergence measurements of fast-electron beams in high-density plasmas are crucial to the Fast Ignition (FI) scheme for inertial confinement fusion. Considering the realistic requirements of FI, the transport of the fast-electron beams in high-density plasmas would be studied by using Particle-in-Cell (PIC) simulations that includes the collisional model of the charged particles and PIC/Fluid hybrid simulations. The collisionl algorithm of the charged particles proposed by Sentoku and high-order interpolation methods for particles and electromagnetic fields would be added in our PIC code firstly. Then we are going to study the relevant factors that affect the fast-electron collilated propagation in the high-density plasmas and explore some new schemes to enhance the collimated propagation of the fast-electron beams. The diagnostic limitation of fast-electron divergence in recent experiments would also be studied. The aim is that to design some schemes to improve the fast-electron measurements and understand the fast-electron divergence exactly in experiments. The results should be useful in the design of future FI experiments.
