The researches on adaptive mechanisms of wetland typical plant species to environmental changes have vitally scientific importance to the restoration and monitoring of wetland ecosystem. In this study, we will focus on the vegetation in the Yellow River Delta. Representative sampled areas should be selected to investigate the communities' characters and habitat environments. We can subsequently identify the predilection of resources selection to different species in the habitat preference and the possibility of species composition. The pattern of regional distribution to the vegetation and the models of community productivity can also be established. Based on the survey in the field, dominant environmental factors can be selected for the indoor environmental simulated experiments to the typical plant species. The relationships between the plant functional traits and the environment surrounded can be measured and analyzed in two scales from the individuals to the communities. Combining the adaptive mechanisms of individual allometry and phenotypic plasticity with the inter-specific niche changes between different species composition, we can find out the differences of plant functional traits between different environments and different species combinations, and design the models of plant functional niches to diff
