中文摘要： 作为公交优先战略的一个重要实施措施，快速公交系统（BRT）以其特有的优势在我国得到了快速发展。鉴于BRT运营线路近年来在数量上急剧增加，有必要对BRT在公交优先战略中的作用和地位重新审视，对其在我国近十年来的发展实践做出全面系统的评价。基于前期研究成果，在对我国14个已开通运营BRT的城市实地调研的基础上，课题分析了BRT的不同构成形式对运行效率、乘客出行行为、企业运营管理、城市经济发展的影响。在此基础上，课题从技术性能、乘客服务质量、企业效益、社会经济发展四个主体角度构建了BRT实施绩效的综合评价体系，使BRT在规划、管理和监督方面具有更为明确的测度指标和评价依据。结合实地调研数据，课题对14个城市的BRT运营实践进行绩效评价，并对BRT在规划、运营中的出现的问题提出了政策建议。

英文摘要： As one of the important implementation measures under the public transport priority development strategy, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) has been rapid deployed in China due to its unique advantages. Given the meteoric increase in BRT deployments in China, it is important to re-examine the status and role of BRT in the public transport priority strategy and make a comprehensive and systematic evaluation of their development practices over the past decade. Based on the preliminary results and surveys from China's 14 cities with BRT implementation for reference, this project has investigated the impacts of different forms of BRT on operation efficiency, passenger service quality, business operations and urban economic development.The study has attempted to evaluate the implementation performance of BRT from four angles: implementation technology, customer service, operation performance and social-economic development. It is aimed to develop more explicit measure indicators and evaluation system for BRT planning, management and supervision. Using the survey data, the project has evaluated the implementation performance of BRT in 14 cities, and make policy recommendations on the practical problems in the BRT planning and operation.
