中文摘要: 空间调制是近年来无线通信领域提出的一项全新多天线调制技术,它通过将待发送信息进行空间三维星座映射和传输的方式,获得无线频谱使用效率的极大提升。与此同时,MIMO相关技术也在提高无线通信系统的传输可靠性和传输速率等方面表现出不容小觑的优势。随着无线资源的日趋匮乏,研究能够综合利用空、时、频等多自由度的物理层传输关键理论与技术,对提高下一代无线网络的资源使用效率具有重大意义。本项目旨在探索基于空间调制的多天线传输理论和应用,具体将研究与传统多天线传输理论存在本质区别的SM-MIMO传输理论体系;并以此为支撑研究自适应的广义空间调制传输机制;针对家庭基站网络中复杂的干扰结构,研究基于空间调制的干扰规避方案,提高家庭基站及宏小区系统性能。本项目从三维空间调制的角度为多天线传输理论研究开辟了新的视角,不仅有助于优化现有无线通信系统的传输性能,而且为未来多系统并存的无线网络组建提供了可行的解决方案。

英文摘要: Spatial Modulation (SM) is a brand new transmission technique with multiple antennas which is recently developed in the field of wireless communications. The basic idea is to map a block of information bits into a three-dimension spatial constellation diagram and gain extremely high spectrum efficiency through transmission. In the mean time, MIMO concerned techniques have shown their great advantages by improving the transmission rate and reliabilities of wireless communication systems. As the scarcity of wireless spectrum resources increases, researches of transmission theories and technologies on how to use different kinds of freedoms, like space, time and frequency, in the physical layer will play a much more important role in improving the resource efficiency of the next generation wireless networks. This research project aims at exploring the Spatial Modulation based MIMO transmission theories and applications. The theoretical system of SM-MIMO is going to be built first, and a great difference will be made between SM-MIMO and the traditional way of MIMO transmission. Then the Generalized Adaptive Spatial Modulation (GASM) schemes will be addressed in the context of SM-MIMO.
