中文摘要: 无线传输技术在近些年实现了跨越式发展,成为了信息化的主要方向。相比于蜂窝移动网络,无线局域网以其低成本、高速率、快速部署等优势,成为引领智能家居、工业物联网和车联网等信息产业发展的关键技术。然而,随着无线用户数量的急剧增加,无线服务对传输速率要求的大幅提高,现有的无线局域网发展遭遇瓶颈。其根本因素在于协议控制信息的传输代价过高,极大制约了信道利用率。.为了解决以上问题,本项目将研究一种新的导频提取技术,通过数据中的已知信息提取可用的导频信号,并将其转化为控制信息的传递媒介,从而降低控制信息的传输代价,提高信道利用率和网络性能。我们首先研究导频提取技术的基础理论和实现,在此基础上研究基于提取的可用导频的多种网络优化机制,包括纠错编码机制和速率自适应机制。最后基于以上优化机制,我们将搭建基于导频提取技术的原型系统和测试平台,并在该平台上进行算法评估和系统验证。

英文摘要: Wireless technologies received an explosive growth over the last two decades, and proved to be a prevailing direction of informatization. Compared with cellular network, wireless local area networks (WLAN) has the advantages of low cost, high data rate and flexible deployment. Thus it becomes the key technology for smart home, internet of things and vehicular networks. However, with the rapid growth of wireless users, and the user demand for high speed wireless services, the existing WLAN encounters performance bottlenecks. The fundamental reason is the overhead of control information, which greatly reduces the channel usage efficiency. .To solve the above problem, we propose a new cross-layer technique to extract available pilot signal. These new pilots are extracted from the data packet, and used to convey control information with minimum cost. Thus the transmission overhead is reduced, and the channel usage efficiency and the network performance is enhanced. We first investigate the theoretical analysis of pilot extraction technique. Then based on the extracted pilot, several network optimization schemes are designed, including error correcting and rate adaptation. Finally, we will implement pilot extraction technique and its network optimization schemes on software radio platform to verify its performance.
