中文摘要: 强相互作用量子点远离平衡态的输运性质是介观输运理论中的一个重要问题。但是,因为缺少可靠的求解非平衡态的方法,该问题仍然悬而未决。本项目拟结合数值重正化群思想和激发算符方法开发一种可靠的求解强相互作用量子点非平衡态的数值方法,并利用该方法研究在远离平衡态的条件下通过量子点的瞬时和稳态电流,分析电流与电压及相互作用强度之间的关系,从而解决强相互作用量子点的非平衡输运性质难题。

英文摘要: One of the main open problems in the field of mesoscopic transport is the understanding of currents through a strongly interacting quantum dot far away from equilibrium. This question challenges the existing techniques for nonequilibrium quantum transport. We propose to develop a reliable numerical method based on the excitation operator approach and the numerical renormalization group approach for studying this question. We will use this method to study the transient and steady-state currents through a quantum dot with strong electron-electron interactions, and to understand the mechanism of the nonequilibrium transport beyond the linear repsonse theory.
