中文摘要: 电磁场特征值问题的计算在科学和工程等许多领域中都具有十分重要的意义和作用,而目前还没有成熟的软件包能对这类问题进行有效的模拟,相应的数值分析也很不完善。本项目采用理论分析结合数值实验的方法,研究电磁场特征值问题的数值模拟,包括算法的设计、分析、实现和应用。我们要针对电磁场特征值问题设计一类间断 Galerkin 离散方法,并通过收敛性分析、误差估计以及数值实验来验证算法的可靠性和有效性。在算法设计和分析的基础上,我们要致力于开发电磁场特征值问题计算的并行软件包,通过在并行环境下集成间断 Galerkin 方法、特征值解法器以及先进的预条件子等,实现高效的并行计算程序,从而能对科学和工程中产生的大规模的、复杂的实际问题进行有效的模拟和计算。

英文摘要: Eigenvalue problems in electromagnetism paly an important role in science and engineering. There is no package that can simulate this type of problems efficiently, the corresponding numerical anaylsis is also very limited. This project combines the theoretical anaylsis and numerical experiments to investigate the numerical algorithms in eigenvalue problems in electromagnetism, including construction, analysis, implementation and application. We shall first consturct a discontinuous Galerkin method for the eigenvalue problems in electromagnetism, and confirm its reliability and efficiency through the convergence analysis, error estimates and numerical experiments. Based on the discretization method, we shall focus on developing a parallel package for the computations of the eigenvalue problems in electromagnetism, which incorporates the discontinuous Galerkin method, the algebric eigensolver, and the advanced preconditioners. We shall achieve an efficient and robust parallel package in order to simulate the large-scale, complicated problems arise in science and engineering.
