中文摘要: 热带气旋是天气尺度上最强的海气相互作用表现形式,对海气界面间的动量、能量以及物质交换都有着重要影响,是当今物理海洋学研究中非常重要的课题。以往对热带气旋的研究注重其对上层海洋温度、环流和生态等的影响;由于资料的匮乏和技术手段的落后,热带气旋如何影响盐度的研究相对较少,已有研究得到的结论也存在分歧,是目前研究的热点和难点。随着卫星遥感、Argo和锚系浮标潜标观测盐度等一系列新的技术手段的出现,深入探讨该问题已成为可能。基于有限目标原则,本研究拟以南海为主要研究区域,深入探讨热带气旋对南海盐度的影响。 具体研究思路如下:首先,利用卫星遥感、Argo和锚系浮标潜标等新技术手段所获取的观测资料系统分析热带气旋经过时南海盐度的响应特征;其次,利用多种海洋数值模式进一步揭示该响应特征的动力机制;在此基础上,进一步利用资料和模式探讨盐度对热带气旋响应后的恢复过程。

英文摘要: Tropical cyclone is the strongest weather scale air-sea interaction phenomena, which has important influence on the exchange of momentum, energy and mass at the air-sea interface.The previous studies focused on the effects of tropical cyclons on the temperature, circulation, biology and upper layer struture in the ocean. But there are scarce researches about the effect of tropical cyclones on the salinity for the lack of observations. And the results of these researches are not consistent. With the development of techonology and means of salinity observation,eg. the satellite remote sensing, Argo floats and moored buoys, the in-depth study of the effect of tropical cyclones on the salinity has become possible. Based on the principle of limited bojectives, this research will investigate the effects of tropical cyclones on the salinity in the South China Sea. This research will use the observed salinity data of satellite,Argo floats and moored buoys to study the responses of the salinity to the tropical cyclones in the South China Sea and use the numerical models to reveal the dynamic mechanisms. And based on the above researches, we further use the observations and models to investigate the recovery of the salinity in response to typhoon.
