This study will focus on the temporal and spacial of the soil microbial diversity during the process of the conversion of cropland to forest project on the loess plateau. By using metagenomics (high-throughput sequencing technologies) and the traditional methods, the temporal(0-82a) and spacial distribution of the soil bacteria and fungi diversity were studied during the conversion of cropland to forest in different ages, different stages of vegetation succession. The genetic, structure and function diversity of soil bacteria and fungi and molecular ecology information were obtained through the analysis of systematic from the different levels. The results will reveal the relationship between the soil microbial community diversity and vegetation, soil after the conversion of cropland to forest. Proclaim the response mechanism of soil microbial diversity to the different environmental conditions change on the loess plateau. It will also provide the scientific proofs for better maintain the stability of soil ecosystem and its ecological service function.
