中文摘要: 苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯三嵌段共聚物(SBS)是一种兼有塑料和橡胶特性、在常温下显示橡胶高弹性、高温下又能塑化成型的热塑性弹性体(TPE)。与传统硫化橡胶相比,在性能上最大差别是热稳定性不够,力学性能欠佳。本项目采用新型稀土催化剂体系催化苯乙烯及丁二烯的控制/活性聚合,设计合成立构规整三嵌段丁苯热塑性弹性体,通过提高分子链结构的规整度来改善材料的使用温度及物理机械性能,共聚物中硬段为含有立构规整结构的可结晶PS,熔点可达150℃ ~ 180℃,软段为顺式含量达到 96%(mol)以上的高顺式PB,玻璃化转变温度约为-110℃。与阴离子聚合所得SBS相比,结晶PS硬相不仅可以提高材料的耐热性,还可改善其物理机械性能;高顺式PB软段可赋予材料高回弹、高耐磨、低生热及优异的耐低温性能。期望该新型材料能够成为一种具有优异综合性能的热塑性弹性体材料。

英文摘要: Styrene-butadiene-styrene triblock copolymer (SBS) is a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) with both plastics and rubber properties. Compared with traditional vulcanized rubber, disadvantages of SBS are poor thermal stability and mechanical properties. Styrene-butadiene-styrene triblock copolymers were designed and synthesized with a novel rare earth catalyst system via controlled /living polymerization of styrene and butadiene. Thermal and mechanical properties could be improved by the increase of macromolecular chain stereospecificity. The crystallized polystyrene (PS) exhibited relatively high melting temperature (Tm) ranging from 150℃ to 180℃. Cis-1,4 content in Bd units was more than 96.0 % (mol) and the glass transition temperature (Tg) of soft polybutadiene (PB) segment was around -110℃. Compared with SBS thermolplastic elastomer obtained by anionic polymerization, the heat resistance and mechanical properties of the elastomer could be improved with the formation of crystallized PS domains as physical crosslinking points. The presence of high cis-1,4 content ( > 96% (mol)) in Bd units improved mechanical properties, such as high rebound, high wear resistance, low heat build and excellent low temperature performance.
