中文摘要: 邻居发现问题是低占空比无线异构网络的一个研究热点,有着非常广泛的应用前景。针对无线异构网络低功耗、低占空比、时钟异步及无线链路不稳定性的实际特点,本项目拟提出基于可变工作时间的无线异构网络邻居发现问题的研究。本研究首先提出低占空比网络邻居发现延迟与能耗的理论模型;然后在此基础上进一步解决动态工作时间下邻居发现延迟与能耗最优化问题;通过取得能量消耗与发现延迟之间的平衡点,设计连续的能量有效的异步邻居发现协议;接着研究异步非对称网络可变动态工作时间可靠性信息交互问题,将异步对称的邻居发现协议扩展至不对称情况;最后研究设计融合多种无线通信设备下的典型邻居发现场景的测试与演示平台,通过该平台对项目理论成果进行验证和推广。 本项目将为无线异构网络中的邻居发现问题提供新的研究路径,为无线异构网络多种异质网元间实现高效节能、低延迟的邻居发现提供基础和技术支持,该研究具有显著的理论意义和应用价值。

英文摘要: Neighbor discovery problem is a hot research area of heterogeneous wireless networks with low duty cycles. Due to the intrinsic characteristics of heterogeneous wireless networks such as low power consumption, low duty cycle, asynchronous clocks, unstable wireless communications etc., in this work we aim to solve neighbor discovery problems for heterogeneous wireless networks based on variable working time. First,we propose a theoretical model of neighbor discovery delay and energy consumption for low duty cycle wireless networks. Following that, we further solve the optimization problems between neighbor discovery delay and power consumption under dynamic working time. Based on the trade-off between energy consumption and neighbor discovery delay, we aim to design and implement an energy-efficient continuous asynchronous neighbor discovery protocol. Next, we study reliability information-exchange issues under changeable dynamic working time for asynchronous asymmetric network and further solve the asynchronous symmetrical neighbor discovery problem in asymmetry situation. Finally, we plan to design a test and demonstration platform which combines a variety of wireless communication devices to verify the efficiency and feasibility of proposed protocols. This study brings forth new approaches for neighbor discovery problems, and offers the theoretical and technological support for realizing energy-efficient and low-latency neighbor discovery among heterogeneous wireless terminals.
