中文摘要: 植被是气候系统中的重要成员,植被的模拟也是当前陆面模式和气候系统模式的关键环节。如何模拟好植被的变化特征是当前陆面模式的难点之一,而其中土壤水等地表水循环过程与植被的相互作用是植被模拟需要解决的关键核心问题。本项目拟针对动态冠层模型Interactive Canopy Model(ICM)中土壤水对植被动态过程模拟能力的影响,利用两套公用陆面模式CLM3.0和CLM3.5中水文参数化方案的不同,设计不同的敏感性试验;对比耦合了不同水文参数化方案的CLM-ICM模拟的植被动态过程和地表能量、水汽通量,详细分析不同的水文参数化过程对ICM模拟植被动态过程的影响,评价各过程的影响效应,考察土壤水等水文参量对植被动态过程模拟的关键环节。研究结果将为未来更合理地考虑土壤水等地表水循环过程在植被动态模拟中的作用提供物理依据。

英文摘要: Vegetation plays a significant role in the climate system, and vegetation modeling is an important component in the land surface models and global climate simulations. It's a challenging task to model the vegetation dynamics for current land surface models. The interaction between soil moisture or other land surface hydrological processes and vegetation dynamics is a key issue that should be considered well in the vegetation models. Focusing on how the soil moisture will influence the vegetation dynamics in the Interactive Canopy Model (ICM), it is prepared in this project to run several sensitivity experiments with different hydrological parameterization schemes derived from the different version of Community Land Models, CLM3.0 and CLM3.5. The simulated vegetation variations and the land surface energy and water fluxes will be analyzed and compared in detail, for the purpose of finding out how and to what extent the surface water cycle will impact the dynamical vegetation modeling. Some valuable clues will be given to optimize the soil moisture or land surface water parameterization when modeling the vegetation dynamics in the future.
