中文摘要: 用外加线圈在等离子体边界产生共振磁扰动(RMP),是目前主动控制ELMy H模等离子体中ELMs的主要方法之一。在EAST上,当n=1的RMP对ELMs产生抑制作用时,等离子体的弦平均密度下降约15%,对台基结构的研究需要进一步深入。由于EAST上RMP的特点,可以产生不同环向模数的扰动场,在各种不同环向模数的扰动场下对ELMs缓解的等离子体参数区间需要进一步探索。拟申请项目将通过EAST上边界密度剖面测量的微波反射仪来测量加上RMP之后等离子体密度台基结构的变化,并结合其他边界参数测量诊断,如汤姆逊散射以及电子回旋辐射诊断分析温度台基的变化。该项目还将对BOUT++的模拟结果和实验结果的比较,可以进一步理解RMP控制ELMs的物理机制。该项目对进一步探索RMP在EAST上实现ELMs控制的参数空间,研究RMP对台基结构的影响以及理解RMP控制ELMs的物理机制具有非常重要的作用。

英文摘要: Using resonant magnetic perturbations created by external coils is one of the methods to active control ELMs in ELMy H-mode plasmas. The line averaged density decreased by ~15% during the ELMs suppression phase, when n=1 RMPs applied, was observed on EAST, however, the change of the pedestal structure needs further investigation. The parameter spaces of the different RMP coil configurations also need further research. This proposal will measure the edge plasma density profile using reflectometry systems, and make a comparison with the uncontrolled ELMy H-mode case. Other diagnostic systems, such as Thomason Scattering systems and ECE systems, will be used to investigate the change of the electron temperature pedestal profile. After the measurements, the profiles will be used in the equilibrium calculations, which will be used as inputs to BOUT++ code. A comparison will be made between the experimental results and simulation results. This proposal is very important to investigate the parameter space of the RMP coils used to mitigate ELMs and make a further understanding of the mechanism of the mitigation of ELMs.
