中文摘要: 本项目申请在我们原来所研制的一系列移动传感器网络系统的基础上,引入自重构机器人研究中的一些先进思想用于解决移动传感器网络研究中存在的全地形适应能力和多任务适应能力不足等问题。我们在此提出一种具有多种仿生步态,可彼此对接组装的新型移动节点及系统设计方法,并将围绕如何根据环境变化有效控制这种目标系统的物理形态展开若干关键问题的研究,包括网络通信机制、自动对接组装、步态协调转换等。通过本项目的研究,我们期望实现移动传感器网络系统单体步态可变,多体形态可变的强大环境自适应能力。本项目的未来成果将加速移动传感器网络的实用化进程,拓展其应用领域,加深人们对此类系统中的若干重要基础科学问题的理解,并为新型多机器人系统和新型自重构系统的设计与开发提供重要参考价值。

英文摘要: This proposal aims at solving some critical problems faced by the mobile sensor network previously designed by us, such as lack of all-terrain capability and multiple-task adaptability. A method for designing new mobile nodes that can move with multiple biologically-inspired gaits and can also assemble with each other is proposed. The research will focus on how to efficiently control the system morphology according to environmental changes. Networking protocols, autonomous assembly and gait transition will be studied respectively. The final goal of this project is to implement a novel mobile sensor network that can adapt to environmental changes by self-reconfiguration ofmultiple nodes. The future success of this project will speed up the application of mobile sensor networks in more areas, make a deeper comprehension of the basic scientific problems in this kind of systems and provide important references to the design of a new generation of multi-robot systems and a new generation of selfreconfigurable robots.
