中文摘要: 随着大规模无线传感器网络在实际应用中的实现,利用无线传感器网络对空间中的物理现象(随机场)的观测监控具有重要意义。由于无线传感器中的网络节点能量有限,传统的中心式处理方法已不能满足需要。本项目研究基于无线传感器网络的随机场分布式估计算法。本项目融合估计理论和分布式协调控制理论的基本思想和先进结果,提出基于无线传感器网络的随机场分布式估计的新方法。此外,对于无线传感器网络中随机场估计的节点最优布置问题,利用最优化理论的先进结果,给出求解相应优化问题的逼近算法以及逼近最优解得界。并根据无线传感器网络的特点设计出这种逼近算法在网络中的分布式实现方案。申请人对以上问题已有较好的前期研究基础。本项目不但有助于估计理论和分布式协调控制理论的发展,也为无线传感器网络的应用提供理论基础。

英文摘要: The developments in micro-electro-mechanical systems technology, wireless communications and digital electronics have made the deployment of low-cost wireless sensor networks (WSNs) in large scale with small size sensor nodes possible。Therefore, the use of WSNs to moniter the physical phenomenon becomes more and more important. Due to the limited energy for the sensor nodes in WSNs, the traditional centralized methods are not suitable for large scale WSNs. This project studies the distributed estimation for random field in WSNs. Integrating the basic idea and advanced results in estimation theory and distributed coordination control theory, a novel distributed estimation method is proposed for the random field estimation in WSNs. Furthermore, the optimal sensor deployment method for random field estimation problem in WSNs is also discussed. Utilize the advanced results in optimization theory, the approximation algorithm for the correspoding optimization problem is developed and the approximation bound is analyzed. According to the characteristics of WSNs,the distributed implementation of the approximation algorithm is also proposed.The project will not only help to develop the estimation theory and distributed coordination control the theory, and also provide a theoretical research for the application of WSNs.
