中文摘要: 占信息存储市场90%份额的磁盘记录技术面临着面记录密度提高的瓶颈,主要的挑战来自写入磁头不能在具有超高磁晶各向异性能的磁性介质上写入要存储的信息。辅助型比特图纹磁记录技术可以在不影响介质的热稳定性和信噪比的同时,大幅降低介质的磁化翻转场,有可能使得磁记录的面记录密度提高到10 Tb/in2以上的水平。 铁磁/铁电结构的捕获电子辅助比特图纹磁记录技术是基于磁性材料的晶格获得电子后磁晶各向异性将发生改变,从而通过铁电材料和外加电场双重调节记录介质磁化翻转磁场的方法,更准确和方便地适应不同写磁头的写入能力和各种记录密度的要求。该技术与现有磁记录技术完全兼容,无需对现有磁记录产业的设备等进行复杂的改造,没有明显的成本增加。本项目将制备铁磁/铁电结构的比特图纹磁记录介质,并系统研究该介质应用于10 Tb/in2的面记录密度的可行性和可能存在的问题,为磁记录技术中记录密度的进一步提高进行必要的探索。

英文摘要: As main technolgy, the magnetic recording is still occupy 90% of market share of information storage. But, the magnetic recording is facing critical barrier on recording density improvement. one of the main issue is that recording head cannot write information to recording media which has very high magnetic anisotropy for ultra-high density recording. Assisted bit patterned magnetic recording can dramatically reduce the magnetic revering field of media without influence on thermal stability and signal-to-noise ratio. Thus, this kind of technology enable the recording density to be beyond 10 Tb/in2. By using the structure of ferroelectric/ferromagnetic layers, the trapping electron assisted & bit patterned magnetic recording technology can modify the magnetic reversal field of recording media more precisely, this is because of that trapped electron can change the magnetic anisotropy of the crystalls. This technology can not only adjust the magntic switch field to work with different recording density, but also compatible with present industrial production process. This project will fabricate bit patterned magnetic recording media with ferroelectric/ferromagnetic multi-layer structure. Meanwhile, we will study the possibility and potential issues when we employ this technology to realize recording density over 10
