中文摘要: 近年发现的二维材料石墨烯被认为是最具潜力的下一代光电子元器件材料,科学家已经发展了包括场效应管在内的多种相关元件,但仍面临许多严峻的挑战。本项目以设计基于石墨烯的新型纳米光电子器件为目标,系统地解决相关的三个基础问题,即如何根据期望的光电特性确定对应的纳米结构,如何制备这种结构以及如何预测并提高其热稳定性。具体研究内容包括完善申请人最近建立的单原子统计模型用于预测纳米器件的热稳定性和寿命,进一步发展申请人最近提出的新型碳纳米电整流器件和原子碳链激光器,探讨新型的基于石墨烯衍生纳米结构的场效应管,等等。

英文摘要: The two-dimensional graphene is considered to be the most potential post-silicon material for the next generation photoelectronics, and scientists have developed many relevant devices including field effect transistors (FET) though are being faced with a lot of challenges. The aim of the present project is to design novel nano-photoelectronic devices based on graphene, and systematically deals with three substantial problems: How to determine the nanostructure that owns desired photoelectronic properties? How to prepare the nanostructure, and how to predict and modify their thermal stability? Specifically, we would further develop the single atom statistical model proposed recently by the applicant for predicting the thermal stability and lifetime of nanodevices, which will be applied to optimize the new electrical rectification devices and a novel nano-laser based on nano carbon chains proposed by ourself recently, and to explore novel type of FET based on graphene, and so on.
