中文摘要: 种-面积关系是生物多样性研究的核心内容,它定量描述物种数量随取样面积增加而变化的规律。构建种-面积关系主要有三种方法,即巢式样方法、组合样方法和不同岛屿法。不同方法构建的种-面积关系具有显著差异,并表现出区域分异。申请人拟基于中国木本植物分布数据库和气候、地形、植被等环境信息,结合地理信息系统等手段,研究我国木本植物种-面积关系的空间格局、方向性和尺度效应,比较不同构建方法对种-面积关系模式的影响。在此基础上,探讨我国木本植物物种更替和扩散的可能途径和影响因素。本项目的实施可望突破现有种-面积关系研究的区域局限性,完善种-面积关系理论,拓展生物多样性和生物地理学的研究内容;其研究成果将服务于我国自然保护区的规划和生物多样性优先保护区的确立,为我国生物多样性保护和可持续利用提供科学依据。

英文摘要: Species-area relationship (SAR), as one of the central issues in community ecology, describes the increments of the numbers of species with sampling area. Forms and parameters of the species-area relationships characterize the spatial distribution of species, varying depending on sampling methods, habitat heterogeneity and spatial scales, but the mechanisms is still lack. Based on the "Distribution database of woody plants in China", the project proposed to explore the geographical patterns of SAR of China's woody plants by using three different sampling modes (nested plots, quadrates combination, and isolated patches). As climatic gradients varied significantly along latitudinal and longitudinal gradients in China, we also plan to compare the SAR along east-west and south-north to analysis the dispersal of species, as further the driving factors. This project aims to promote the development of SAR theory and species-climate relationship, and enhance the understanding of the formation and maintenance of the biodiversity patterns; especially the geographical extend which can fill the gap of national SAR analysis.
