中文摘要: 中国民间剪纸技艺精湛,意寓深刻,历史源远流长,具有极高的艺术性、实用性和装饰性,是我国重要的非物质文化遗产。剪纸的计算机建模与自动生成方法研究是有助于传播剪纸文化和加速其产业化的计算机图形学基础研究之一。现有的方法主要存在着两点局限性:一是缺乏统一的计算机建模,难以描述和评估剪纸的工艺性和审美性约束条件;二是局限于特定的剪纸手法,难以自动生成阴阳结合、整体连通、艺术夸张的剪纸效果。针对上述问题,本项目拟首先研究剪纸艺术的统一计算机建模方法,建立剪纸工艺性约束和审美性约束的判别标准和定量评估机制;在该模型的基础上,重点研究符合工艺性约束的计算机自动剪纸生成方法,并进一步研究满足审美性约束的剪纸再创作方法。本项目需着重解决针对剪纸艺术的计算机统一表示、约束条件判别和基于图像的自动转化三个关键科学问题,研究成果对探索基于计算机图形学技术的非物质文化遗产数字化保护的新模式具有重要意义。

英文摘要: Chinese folk paper-cut is an important Chinese intangible cultural heritage with exquisite technique, symbolic meaning, a long history and high artistry, practicability and ornament. Computer modeling and automatic generation of paper-cut is one of the fundamental research topics in computer graphics, which contributes to spread paper-cut culture and promote industrialization. Current methods have two major limitations: the first one is lack of an unified computer model, that results in describing and evaluating problems for the paper-cut's technical and aesthetic constraints; secondly, they are limited to a specified cutting technique, thus have problems in automatically generating paper-cut effect combining positive and negative cutting with connectivity and artistic exaggeration. To solve the aforementioned issues, we plan to firstly propose an unified computer model, and build the determination conditions and quantitative evaluating mechanisms for paper-cut's technical and aesthetic constraints. Based on this model, we focus on generating paper-cut automatically that fits technical constraints, and further seek for a re-creating method that fits aesthetic constraints.
