中文摘要: 海岸线是海洋与陆地的分界线。海岸线的变迁是全球环境变化、海岸环境变化以及人类活动相互作用的结果和综合反映。如何全面、准确地了解海岸线的动态变化,是实现海岸带资源科学管理和可持续利用的基础。本项目拟采用卫星多极化微波遥感对海岸线进行监测,探讨卫星多极化微波遥感的海岸线机制。具体内容包括:利用多极化合成孔径雷达(Synthetic Aperture Radar, SAR)图像提取水边线;根据水边线及其它辅助资料或模型,如验潮站潮位资料、潮汐表、潮汐模型等,提取海岸线;利用多极化SAR图像对海岸线进行分类;选取典型的海岸带,对多极化SAR海岸线提取和分类算法的精度进行验证和评价。

英文摘要: A coastline is the area where land meets ocean. The changes of coastline reflect the reciprocity of global and coastal environmental changes and human activities. Comprehensively and accurately monitoring the coastline change is important for coastal management and sustainable utilization of coastal resources. The goal of this proposal is to develop new algorithms for automatic coastline extraction and classification from satellite multi-polarization microwave synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data. The details of this proposal includes: 1) develop algorithm for automatic coastline extraction from multi-polarization SAR images; 2) apply tidal data and model for extracted coastline correction; 3) classify different types of coastlines; 4) case study to validate and evaluate the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed coastline extraction and classification methods.
