中文摘要: 生物凝胶通常在高水含量下依然具有良好的弹性和韧性,其原因就在于生物凝胶大多具有规整有序的、多层级的聚集态结构,以及生物大分子之间较强的相互作用力。近年来关于高机械强度水凝胶的制备和性能结构研究已成为一个热点,但依据仿生原理来制备高强度凝胶的研究还未见报道。本项目拟选择一种结构相对简单的生物凝胶-海蜇作为研究对象,开展利用仿生技术制备具有类似海蜇结构和性能水凝胶的研究。前期研究已证实海蜇具有独特的微观结构、高的机械强度和独特的各向异性的溶胀性能。本项目拟对海蜇的结构与性能进行较为深入的研究,进一步揭示结构与性能之间的关系。在此基础上采用多种原料和方法制备具有类似海蜇微观结构的水凝胶,并通过调控化学结构和物理结构得到与海蜇相似的机械性能和溶胀性能等。这项研究可能为人们在设计和制备具有规整的结构和独特的机械和溶胀性能的水凝胶提供新思路。这些仿海蜇结构凝胶可以应用于生物医学、软机械部件等领域。

英文摘要: Biological gels are usually elastic and tough at high water content, due to the well-developed ordered and hierarchical aggregation structure of biomacromolecules and the strong interactions among them. In recent years, study on the fabrication of hydrogels with high mechanical strength and their structure-property relationships has become a hot topic, but the preparation of strong hydrogels based on the bionic principle has not been reported yet. Selecting jellyfish, a relatively simple biological gel, as the object of study, this project aims to prepare hydrogels with similar microstructure and properties as that of jellyfish. Our preliminary studies have confirmed that the jellyfish has a unique micro-structure, high mechanical strength and unique anisotropic swelling properties. More in-depth study on the structure and properties of jellyfish will be made to illustrate their relationship. On this basis, hydrogels with microstructure and properties similar to that of jellyfish will be prepared by using appropriate materials and methods, and by regulating the chemical and physical structures to mimic the mechanical and swelling properties of jellyfish. This study may provide gel scientists with new ideas in designing and fabricating hydrogels with well-defined microstructures and unique mechanical and swelling
