中文摘要: 十字花科黑腐病菌是一种能在全球范围内引起所有十字花科植物黑腐病的重要植物病原细菌。长期以来一直缺乏控制该病害的有效方法。由hrp基因编码的III型分泌系统及其释放的III型效应物是十字花科黑腐病菌的决定性致病因子,hrp基因的表达受植物信号诱导和关键调控蛋白HrpX的控制。本项目拟进行高通量筛选鉴定控制十字花科黑腐病菌hrp T3SS的小分子化合物,揭示其与十字花科黑腐病菌hrp T3SS关键调控蛋白HrpX的分子互作机制。这对阐明十字花科植物黑腐病hrp基因表达调控机制,以及该菌的致病机理都具有重要意义,更为开发生物安全药物和建立新型抗病策略提供分子依据。

英文摘要: Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris (Xcc) is the causal agent of black rot disease, one of the most destructive diseases of cruciferous plants worldwide. The efficient method to control this disease has been absent for a long time. The type III secretion system (T3SS) encoded by hrp genes and T3SS-effector proteins are essential for this plant bacterial pathogens to cause disease in susceptible host plants. The expression of hrp genes are induced by plant signal and controlled by the key regulator HrpX. This research aims to screen and identify the small molecules which control the hrp type III secretion system of Xanthomonas campestris pv. campestris using high-throughput methods, and to dissect their molecular interaction mechanism furthermore. It should be helpful to clarify the hrp regulation and the molecular mechanism of pathogenicity for Xcc. It would present the molecular basis for developing biological safety drug and establishing the novel resistance strategies.
