中文摘要: 经典光学中,当材料中存在反对称的增益和吸收时,光束在其中的传播可以等效成一个具有奇偶时间对称(PT对称)势函数的量子体系。目前国内外对于具有PT对称势的光子晶格中光束动力学性质的讨论主要集中在其非线性动力学特性和PT孤子的研究方面。本项目拟从PT周期势的带隙结构出发,阐明PT对称光学晶格内的Floquet-Bloch模同入射光束模式之间的联系;分析PT光子晶格内光束的布洛赫振荡、拉比振荡和动态局域性等动力学特性;结合麦克斯韦方程组在傍轴近似下的几种特解形式,探讨高斯光束,洛仑兹光束,贝塞尔光束,以及由他们衍生的其他特殊光束与PT对称光子晶格相互作用时的线性传输动力学性质。

英文摘要: In classic optics, a Parity-Time (PT) symmetric potential could be realized by introducing anti-symmetric gain and loss in dielectric materials, which resembles the case of quantum systems under a PT symmetric potential. However, current research interests mainly focused on their nonlinear characteristics and PT soltions. The linear properties of PT symmetric potentials has not been thoroughly investigated. This project is intended to study from the band gap structure of PT symmetric periodic potentials, and discover the natural relationships between optical beam modes and linear Floquet-Bloch modes. It is also intended to analyze the Optical Bloch Oscillations, Optical Rabi Oscillations and Dynamic localizations. The propagating dynamics of several special optical beams such as Gaussian beams, Lorenz beams,Bessel beams and other generalized optical modes in PT symmetric optical lattices and their interactions with the PT potentials are also contained in this project.
