中文摘要: 本项目拟利用基于密度泛函理论的第一性原理计算方法并结合CALYPSO晶体结构预测技术,对高能量密度材料聚合氮的高压合成与相变进行深入、系统地理论研究。以合理的预测纯氮的高压新相的结构为切入点,探索氮在高压下形成聚合氮的结构以及氮的金属化问题。同时引入含氮金属叠氮化合物体系(XN3)作为对比研究聚合氮高压实验合成,研究利用纯氮和XN3通过高压合成聚合氮的条件、路径,以及相变为聚合氮后能否在常压下截获,探索高压下纯氮中的N≡N叁键与XN3中的N=N双键压致成聚合氮的N-N单键的物理规律、机制,总结不同初始结构对相变规律的影响。本项目的实施将会丰富氮的高压相图,提高对聚合氮的高压相变的认识,为其高压实验合成提供科学依据和理论指导。

英文摘要: In this project, we are going to systemically research the synthesis and phase transitions of high energy density materials-polymeric nitrogen at high pressure by using the first-principles calculation based on density functional theory combined by the CALYPSO crystal structure prediction techniques. Starting with the reasonable structure prediction of new phase of nitrogen, we will explore the structure of polymeric nitrogen and metalization of nitrogen under high pressure. Introducing metal azides as comparative system, we will research the synthesis route of polymeric nitrogen based on pure nitrogen and metal azides at high pressure and the probability of getting polymeric nitrogen at ambient pressure. We will explore the physical nature of N≡N triple bonds of pure nitroeng and N=N double bonds of metal azide compounds transforming into N-N single bonds of polymeric nitrogen at high pressure and give a conclusion of polyeric nitrogen phase transititon based on different staring materials. The implementation of this project will shed light on deep understanding of phase diagram of nitrogen at extreme conditions, improve the understanding of phase transition of polymeric nitrogen, and provide scientific basis and theoretical guidance for experimental synthesis at high pressure.
