中文摘要: 本项目采用三维海洋模式POM,模拟台风激发的近惯性内波在海洋中的三维传播。以近惯性内波场为背景,并考虑底摩擦和缓慢地形变化对内孤立波的影响,采用GKdV模型对台风过程中的内孤立波进行数值模拟计算,分析台风激发的近惯性内波对内孤立波的影响。依据内波数值模拟结果,利用中国海洋大学二维分层流及内波水槽,进行台风过程中的内波实验室研究。针对台风过程中海洋结构的内波受力特性开展系列实验,并对Morison 公式中的拖曳力系数和惯性力系数进行统计分析。在此基础上,对实际海洋中的假想结构受力特性进行数值模拟研究;并以 FLUENT软件为平台,建立内波数值水槽,分析台风过程中海洋结构表面压力分布和载荷特征。通过本项目的研究,能够深入了解南海台风过程中的内波特征及其对海洋结构的作用,为南海海洋工程设计提供新的借鉴;不但具有重要的学术意义,而且具有一定的工程实际应用价值。

英文摘要: The near-inertial internal waves induced by typhoon will be simulated using the three dimensional ocean model POM in this project. Internal solitary waves under conditions of typhoon will be simulated by GKdV, a model considering the background current, bottom friction and depth. The impact of near-inertial internal wave on internal solitary wave will be studied. Characteristics of internal waves under conditions of typhoon will be researched in a 2D-internal wave and stratified flow tank in Physical Oceanography Laboratory of Ocean University of China based on simulation results. Series experiments will be conducted to investigate effect of internal wave on offshore structure, and the drag force parameter and inertial force parameter in Morison formula will be analyzed with experiments. The internal wave stress characteristic of hypothetical offshore structure in the actual ocean environment will be simulated according to Morison formula. A numerical internal wave flume will be developed based on the software FLUENT, and the velocity and force fields of internal waves at the surface of offshore structure will be simulated utilizing this numerical flume. The project offers an insight into characteristics of internal waves and the impact on the offshore structure under conditions of typhoon. Thus the research results of this project have important academic significance and practical engineering applications.
