中文摘要: 计算全息显示是基于波前再现的真三维显示技术,它是信息时代全息技术发展的必然。计算全息不仅可以编码实际物体光波的振幅和相位,而且能综合出虚拟物体波前,其显示效果与人眼三维视觉特性完全匹配,可以实现真实自然的高分辨三维显示。全息再现像的视角是关系三维显示效果的一项至关重要的技术指标,学者们为了实现大视角全息显示,提出了计算周视全息,其可实现视角为360度的三维显示。近年来,计算周视全息三维显示的应用研究引起了人们的极大关注,成为了信息科学的重要研究方向和热点。尽管计算周视全息已经取得一些进展,但离实用化尚且存在较大的距离。就目前研究现状,如何实现高分辨计算周视全息三维显示是一个难题,关键问题在于高分辨计算周视全息图需要的计算量很大。我们拟通过本项目的研究,讨论高分辨计算周视全息光场信息的压缩及其快速算法问题,为周视全息三维显示模型简化和全息快速算法设计提供理论指导及技术参考。

英文摘要: Computer-generated holography (CGH) is a wavefront reconstruction based true three-dimensional (3D) display technology, which is the inevitable development of holography in information era. The amplitude and phase of real object or virtual object can be encoded by CGH. The visualization effects of CGH match at the 3D visual characteristic of human eye completely. Thus, the computer-generated hologram can reconstruct high-resolution 3D images really and naturally. The viewing angle of holographic image is a significant factor of 3D visualization effect. Computer-generated cylindrical holography (CGCH) is proposed for holographic visualization with wide viewing angle. CGCH attracts much attention among academic and industry domain, and become a significant research orientation and hotspot in information science. Many researches about CGCH have been reported in recent years. However, CGCH is still far away from practical use. Based on research status, the challenge of realization of high-resolution CGCH-based 3D display is the huge compute burden. We will discuss the light field information compression of high-resolution CGCH and its fast algorithm in this project. It may provide theoretical and technical reference for CGCH-based 3D display model simplify and holographic fast algorithm design.
