中文摘要: 人眼对比度敏感视觉特性是图像显示、处理、理解等技术的重要理论基础之一,其模型已在图像编码、压缩和质量评价等领域中得到了广泛的应用,但是迄今为止,还没有一个较好的测量方法和一个能真实反映对比度敏感视觉特性的数学模型。随着计算机、网络和信息技术的发展,显示器成为图像信息最主要的载体,所以基于显示器的人眼视觉特性的测量及其模型在图像技术中的应用具有重要的理论研究意义和实际应用价值。本拟申报课题将采用LCD显示器显示目标光栅,设计测量人眼亮度和色度对比度敏感视觉特性的实验方案,并选择11种空间频率,对300-500名不同视力的人眼在不同观测环境下进行测量,获得对比度敏感阈值;并通过理论分析和数值拟合,建立一种能较好的反映视觉真实感知特性的数学模型;再结合图像变换域频谱特征,提出一种基于人眼对比度感知特性的图像编码压缩技术。从而为人眼视觉特性在图像技术中的应用提供理论基础和技术支持。

英文摘要: The contrast sensitivity characteristics of human visual system is one of important theoretical basis of image display, processing, understanding, whose model has been widely used in the field of image coding, compression and quality evaluation. But so far people have not found a better measurement methods and a mathematical model which could reflect more really the contrast sensitive visual characteristics. With the development of computer, network and information technology, the display has become the main carrier of the image information So measuring the human visual characteristics with the display and applying the model to image technology have very important theoretical research value and the actual value. In the declaring project, using the LCD monitor to display the target gratings, experimental program to measure luminance and chrominance contrast sensitive of human visual system was designed. And 11 kinds of spatial frequency were selected to measured contrast detection thresholds of 300-500 people with different vision under different observation environments. By theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, a mathematical model was obtained, which could better reflect the visual real perception.
