中文摘要: 重金属镉(Cd)作为胁迫稻田作物生长发育的最主要污染物之一,对我国粮食生产和食品安全造成巨大的影响。应用富含铁氧化物的工业废弃物赤泥钝化土壤Cd,是目前Cd污染土壤修复的主流技术,而赤泥钝化土壤-水稻系统Cd的机理仍并不十分清楚。依次,本研究以不同根部渗氧能力的水稻品种和赤泥为试验材料,基于室内盆栽交叉试验结合同步辐射、X-光衍射等现代分析技术,构建特定的植物生理-土壤发育体系,微观比对土壤-水稻系统中添加赤泥后Cd的赋存形态、根际微结构和生物微群系生理、生化响应特征及变化,探讨Cd在土壤-水稻系统中的钝化过程与机理。这将对改进、完善低度Cd污染稻田土壤的修复技术及合理资源化处置工业废弃物赤泥而提供科学依据。

英文摘要: Recently, contamination of cadmium (Cd) in paddy soils is a growing concern because of increased fertilizer- and biosolids-borne Cd in soils. In situ immobilization Cd in contaminated soils by adding red mud (RM), a by-product of the alumina industry, has been considered as a cost-effective measure for contaminated soil remediation. However, immobilization mechanism of red mud on Cd in soil-rice system is still unclear. To investigate the mechanism, rice varieties with different radial oxygen loss (ROL) of roots were grown in mildly Cd-contaminated soils amended by RM in pot experiments. This work will shed light on the potential application of red mud to remediate mildly Cd-contaminated soil-rice system and illustrated the promising tool of intermediate energy X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) spectroscopy and X-ray Diffraction (XRD) to identify sorption mechanisms of Cd in paddy soils amended by RM.
