Some preliminary findings suggest: aerobic exercise is an effective means to improve children executive function (EF), but the comprehensive scientific evidence to support this view is still lack. The brain mechanism of beneficial effects are really not known, the key question, which aerobic exercise affect on brain region plasticity of children's EF, is not undertaken any study. We pre-discoveried that aerobic exercise can improve children's EF, and the certain brain regions plasticity of children's EF, which provide a theoretical and practical foundation for the key question. However, there are three important aspects that remain to need to further probe: brain plasticity index, long-term effects and multi-dimensional structure of executive function. In this respect, the current project sets out to seek to investigate the effect of aerobic exercise on brain region plasticity of children's EF, further explore the relationship among aerobic exercise, children 's executive function, its brain region plasticity, finally clarify aerobic exercise to improve children 's executive function and its brain mechanisms, in order to provide new scientific evidence for which aerobic exercise is a healthy and effective way to improve children EF.
