中文摘要: 本项目结合心理物理学与多模态脑功能成像(EEG,fMRI,以及EEG-fMRI同步记录),对奖赏学习调节基本认知过程的神经机制进行探索。本项目着重考察奖赏与特定视觉特征通过学习建立的关联如何调节大脑的知觉,工作记忆,以及注意和执行控制等基本认知过程。本项目采用意识突破,视觉搜索,记忆搜索等范式,对相关行为指标以及脑成像信号进行考察,从而研究习得的奖赏关联对认知过程进行调节的神经机制。本项目将为进一步理解奖赏与认知的关系提供关键的原创性证据,并为相关的感知觉能力缺损、心理障碍等疾病的治疗提供理论借鉴。

英文摘要: We propose to combine psychophysics and multi-modal brain imaging (EEG, fMRI, and EEG-fMRI simultaneous recording) to investigate the neural mechanisms about how reward learning modulate basic cognitive functions. Particularly, the project will examine the modulation of reward-associated features on the processes of perception, working memory, and attention/executive control. The project will adopt paradigms of breaking-continuous flash suppression, visual search, and memory search, and examine the behavioral measurements and brain imaging signals in order to understand the mechanism of the modulation effects. The project will provide novel evidence for better understanding of the relationship between reward and cognition. The project will also provide theoretical contribution for the treatment of related sensory-perceptual deficits and psychological disorders.
