中文摘要: 高分子纳米复合材料的优异力学性能取决于纳米填料网络与高分子链网络的协同效应。然而,由于网络结构的复杂性以及研究方法和技术手段的限制,这一软硬双网络结构分别对力学性能的贡献及其协同机理还不清楚。针对纳米填料网络和高分子链网络的结构特点,本项目计划发展同步辐射X射线成像和小角中子散射原位技术,以白炭黑补强硅橡胶体系为模型研究对象,研究双网络结构在拉伸作用下的结构演化动力学与力学性能的关系。同步辐射X射线三维成像技术检测纳米填料网络在拉伸中的形变、破坏和外力撤除后的恢复与重构;小角中子散射和氘代技术结合,跟踪分子链网络形变和松弛。调节填料与分子基体的界面相互作用,探寻双网络结构之间的协同效应,揭示纳米填料增强的物理机制和Payne效应等力学特征的结构缘由,为设计高性能纳米复合高分子材料提供理论和实验依据。本项目发展基于大科学工程的原位技术,为高分子同行服务。

英文摘要: The high special strength and easy process properties of polymer composite come from the synergistic interactions of filler and molecule chain networks. Because of complex of network structures and limitations of research methods, how the influence of some key factors on the mechanisms of polymer composite, such as filler diameters, structures and shapes, is not clear, and the three dimensional structures of filler distributing in the polymer matrix is not known. Aim at the challenge, this project plans to develop micro-mechanical measurement set up which can be used in in-situ measurement with both synchrotron X-ray 3D imaging and small angle neutron scattering technique. Taking white carbon black enhanced silcone rubber as example, the relationship of the structure changes of filler and molecule chain networks and mechanical properties during tensile deformation will be detected, the synergistic interactions of the two networks will be studied. we will accomplish multi-scale structure characterization with time and spatial resolution accompanying with mechanical properties measurement. and the proper principles of molecule chain deformation under drawing together with the relationship between the Payne effect of filled silicone rubber and three dimensional structures of white carbon black in rubber matrix will be given. We aim at establishing synchrotron -based method for the study of mesoscopic mechanics in polymer and providing more useful help for the users from polymer materials and other research field as well as give evidences for designing and producing the silicone rubber composites with special mechanical properties.
