中文摘要: 60 GHz毫米波通信技术具有巨大的潜在应用价值,且目前国际与国内标准组也正在制定60 GHz无线个域网/无线局域网标准。60 GHz毫米波通信面临的重大挑战之一是高频点、大带宽,这导致基于CMOS工艺的射频器件存在功放非线性、IQ失衡以及相位噪声等影响,从而显著降低系统误码性能。为此,本项目拟采用通信信号处理的基本方法,分别针对三种典型的射频影响建立合适的数学模型,提出简单、高效的估计及预测算法来提取有关参数,并利用这些参数对失真信号进行补偿和解调,从而消除这三种典型的射频影响;在此基础上,综合考虑三方面的射频影响,形成完整的射频影响消除方案;并将该方案融入60 GHz WPAN物理层帧结构设计,进行整体系统性能评估与可行性验证。最后,将设计的物理层帧结构提交至国家标准工作组,以推动我国60 GHz技术的标准化。

英文摘要: 60 GHz millimeter-wave technology has great potential applications, and currently international and domestic standardization groups are developing 60 GHz wireless personal area network / wireless local area network (WPAN/WLAN) standards. One of the major challenges encountered by the 60 GHz millimeter-wave communications is high frequency and large bandwidth, which results in effects of power amplifier (PA) non-linearity, IQ imbalance and phase noise for 60 GHz frequency radio (RF) devices with complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) technology. The RF effects significantly degrade the bit-error rate (BER) performance of a system. Therefore, the basic approach of communication signal processing is adopted to eliminate the three typical RF effects in this project. In particular, for each of the three RF effects, appropriate mathematical models are established, simple and efficient estimation and prediction algorithms are proposed to obtain relevant parameters, which are used in the compensation and demodulation of the distorted signals. On this basis, considering the combined RF effects of the three, a complete method of RF effect cancellation will be achieved.
