中文摘要: 高功率激光器在科学研究及工业领域均有广泛应用,改善光束在目标靶面的辐照均匀性是提高其性能的重要课题。将光谱色散匀滑(SSD)与连续相位板(CPP)相结合是实现高功率固体激光系统光束匀滑的有效途径,但该方案尚需解决若干关键问题。本项目对采用该方案后的光束匀滑状况及其时空传输特性进行深入研究,主要内容包括:(1)研究理想条件下SSD+CPP方案对靶面辐照均匀性的改善,以及相关参数对均匀性的影响;(2)建立基于光学统计理论的光束空间畸变模型,通过实验修正模型参数,并评估畸变对光束匀滑效果的影响,对激光系统参数进行整体优化;(3)建立适用于光谱色散光束的宽带放大器理论模型,对含SSD单元的激光系统输出时间脉冲波形作预估,并据此调整放大器的工作参数。本项目的研究成果将充实高功率激光系统光束匀滑的基础理论研究,对解决我国大型激光系统面临的实际问题及将SSD+CPP方案推广到工业应用领域具有重要意义。

英文摘要: High-power lasers have been extensively applied to the fields of scientific research and industry, and improving the on-target irradiation uniformity is an important task in increasing their performance. The joint use of the techniques of Smoothing by Spectral Dispersion (SSD) and Continuous Phase Plate (CPP) will be a promising scheme for beam smoothing, however, some key problems remain to be studied in its practical application. In this project, researches will be carried out on the performance and spatio-temporal characteristics of the beam smoothed by the SSD+CPP scheme, and the following will be included: 1) analysis of the improving of the on-target irradiaion uniformity when this SSD+CPP scheme is employed, and then how the uniformity will change when different parameters are used in the scheme. 2) developing of a model that can be used to describe the spatial beam aberration based on the statistical optics, and the parameters of this model will be tested experimentally. Evaluation will be made how the aberration will inflence the irradiaion uniformity, and the laser system will then be optimized accordingly. 3) developing of an amplifier model which can be applied to the broad band laser beam spread temporally and spatially by the SSD, and then simulation of the output pulse will be made.
