中文摘要: 事件计时测量技术在空间天文探测、卫星导航定位、飞行器精密定轨、激光测距、测绘、核物理、通信等领域起着技术引领的作用。研究高精度事件计时测量方法,尤其是单次测量精度达到飞秒量级的事件计时测量技术,具有十分重要的意义。目前,受测量方法和器件性能的制约,对单次测量精度达到飞秒量级的事件计时技术的研究是一个亟待解决的难题。本项目提出了以声表面波编码器件作为时间内插器,将时间内插法和编码信号自相关函数的高信噪比特性相结合,并利用一种完全有别于传统的时域互相关对时延进行测量的算法,同时配合有针对性的高效的去噪算法,从而可以大幅提高事件计时测量的精度,经过初步实验,获得了1.2ps rms 的单次测量精度,通过进一步的深入研究,采取一些关键技术,以期使事件计时测量获得飞秒量级的单次测量精度,并研制出相应可供实用的事件计时器。

英文摘要: Event timing measurement play a essential role in the fields of astronomy observations, satellite navigation, precise orbit determination of spacecraft,laser ranging, surveying and mapping, atomic physics, communications, and so on.High-precision event timing measurement, especially that with the single shot precision reaching femtosecond level, is a significant subject. Restricted by the measurement methods and device performance, currently the event timing technique with the single shot precision reaching femtosecond level is a challenge to be solved.The project utilizes surface acoustic wave encoder as a time interpolator,combines the time interpolation method and the characteristic high signal-noise ratio of the cross correlation function of encoded signal, and uses an algorithm completely different with the traditional algorithm based on time-domain cross correlation in the measurement of time delay, together with a targeted and high efficient denoising algorithm, and thus the precision of event timing measurement are improved substantially. Preliminary experiment shows the single shot precision can reach 1.2ps rms. Through further intensive study, and then taking some of the key technologies, the single shot precision is expected to reach femtosecond level,and the event timing device will be developed for practical use .
