中文摘要: 社交网络是流言传播的主要渠道。由于一条流言可能会在多个社交网络中同时传播或来回穿梭,对流言的演化与传播过程进行建模是极具挑战性的。该项目将基于已有的真实数据集,对流言传播过程进行跟踪。通过分析跟踪得到的传播轨迹,我们将提出一个新的流言演化模型和流言传播模型。根据新的流言传播模型,我们将解析社交网络中流言的传播范围与速度。同时,我们还将提出一种加速蒙特卡罗算法,来提升传播动力学模拟的效率。最后,我们将提出一种甄别流言的方法来控制流言传播。该项目一方面将可以提高人们从大量信息中辨别流言的能力。另一方面,新的流言传播模型将有助于人们预测流言传播的范围和速度。

英文摘要: Social networks are main tunnels of rumor spreading. Since a rumor may simultaneously spread on more than one social networks and it may also shuttle back and forth among them, modeling rumor spreading process is rather challenging. This project will trace real-world rumor spreading processes in social networks based on real datasets. Through mining the track of rumor spreading, we will propose a new rumor evolution model and rumor spreading model. We will analytically investigate the informed scale and spreading velocity of rumors. We will also propose an accelerated Monte-Carlo algorism in order to promote the efficiency of simulating spreading dynamics. Finally, we will propose an approach of rumor identification to control rumor spreading. This project will promote the ability of individuals in differentiating rumors from massive information on one hand. On the other hand, the new rumor spreading model will help to predict the spreading velocity and informed scale of a rumor.
