中文摘要: 心脑血管疾病是威胁人类健康和生命的最严重疾病之一。计算机断层扫描血管造影(CTA)技术在筛查全身血管疾病方面由于无创性更容易被病人所接受。但目前CTA检查尚不能取代数字减影血管造影(DSA)和血管内超声(IVUS)等有创性介入检查。为了提高CTA检查的实用性,本项目研究针对CTA数据的计算机辅助诊断、可视化与虚拟介入治疗,建立相关的理论和算法,拟完成如下任务: 1)血管和心脏模型的解剖真实的表示与提取; 2)血管异常的定性分析与带病变特征的血管可视化; 3)血管内支架植入效果的评估以及血管内虚拟介入治疗。 本项目针对CTA数据的分析与处理作深入研究,为血管疾病的早期诊断以及提高介入治疗的成功率奠定理论基础和技术支持。

英文摘要: Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are two leading causes of death worldwide. Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) is a computed tomography technique used to diagnose diseases of arterial and venous vessels throughout the body noninvasively. Specially, contrast-enhanced CTA with high spatial resolution provides a segmentation of the coronary artery tree with short acquisition times. CTA has great potential for identification, characterization and quantification of the atherosclerotic diseases via evaluating the cross-sectional area of the vessel. To improve the performance of the CTA, we investigate the computer-aided diagnosis, visualization and simulation of endovascular intervention therapy for the CTA data. This research project will develop the theories and algorithms on analysis and processing for CTA data which includes the following tasks: 1) anatomically approximate representation and extraction of the vessels and heart; 2) qualitative analysis and visualization for the vascular abnormalities; 3) evaluation for endovascular stents planting treatment and simulation for endovascular intervention therapy.
