中文摘要: 创新扩散是指一项创新在某一社会团体中传播的过程。在这个过程中,社会网络的结构决定了创新的扩散速度,同时社会对创新的采纳也会对社会网络的结构产生影响。以往对创新扩散的研究较少关注社会系统的这种适应性演化特征。本项目拟运用网络科学的理论工具揭示社会系统结构与创新扩散之间的适应性演化机制,并通过网络干预的手段达到控制创新扩散速度的目的。首先,本项目对科学界中的创新扩散进行实证研究,找出科学创新在社会系统中的传播途径。然后,我们探索科学家合作网络与科学家互引网络间的关系,阐明社会的网络结构与社会传播过程共同演化的机制。接下来,本项目基于适应性演化网络对科学界的创新扩散进行建模。最后,结合网络干预的手段,本项目将从个人和团队策略等方面,提出在自适应网络中控制创新扩散速度的办法。本项目的研究成果可在与创新扩散类似的其他社会传播现象的研究中发挥重要作用。

英文摘要: Diffusion of innovation is the process of an innovation spreading in a social system. In such a process, the network structure of the social system can affect the rate of the diffusion; meanwhile the adoption of innovation can also alter the social network structure. Past research in diffusion of innovation has paid little attention on the adaptive co-evolutionary mechanism between the social system and the diffusion process. This project aims at characterizing this mechanism by employing theoretical tools from complex network science, and eventually control the rate of diffusion by means of network intervention. First, we analyze the diffusion of scientific innovation throught empirical data, in order to find the trace of diffusion in the social system. Then, the interaction between scientific collaboration network and citation network is investigated, hence the adaptive co-evolution mechanism between social system and the diffusion process explained. Next, we build theoretical models of scientific innovation diffusion based on the adaptive co-evolution models of social system. Finally, we propose solutions to control the rate of innovation diffusion in respects of individual and team strategies based on network intervention methodologies on adaptive networks.
