中文摘要: 面对相变存储器PCM(Phase Change Memory)新型存储器可以替代DRAM成为大容量非易失主存的发展趋势,而已有的闪存数据管理和传统的内存数据管理技术都不适于PCM的现状,本项目提出研究主存级PCM数据管理关键技术。本项目以主存级PCM为基础,针对PCM数据管理与闪存数据管理和内存数据管理之间存在的差异,结合PCM的介质特性,研究面向PCM的新型算法性能评价模型、存储管理、索引、事务一致性恢复等内容,提出适合主存级PCM架构的一系列新方法和新算法,并构建一个主存级PCM实验平台进行性能验证。本项目的研究不仅可以构建一个主存级PCM实验平台,为研究创新的PCM数据管理方法奠定基础,还有望突破基于PCM的数据管理核心技术,推进PCM存储技术以及应用的进一步发展。

英文摘要: Face of PCM (Phase Change Memory) new memory can replace DRAM to become the development trend of high-capacity non-volatile main memory, the flash memory data management and traditional memory data management techniques are not suitable for PCM, so this project proposed to study PCM main memory level data management key technologies. This project taking the PCM as main memory level device, for the difference between the PCM data management and the data management on flash & memory, by studying the research of new algorithm performance evaluation model on PCM, the PCM storage management, indexing on PCM, transaction consistency restoration on PCM and so on, proposes a series of new methods and algorithms suitable for PCM main memory architecture, and build a PCM main memory level experimental platform for the performance verification test. Not only can this research project to build an experimental platform for PCM main memory level, laying the foundation for the study of innovative data management methods PCM, but also it is expected to exceed the core technology of PCM data management, and promote the further development of PCM storage technologies and applications.
