中文摘要: 随着信息、通讯和控制理论的不断发展与融合,网络化系统受到越来越多研究者和工程师的关注,并被广泛应用于智能交通、工业自动化、高端制造业、国防等领域。在无线衰落信道条件下,网络特性(如信道衰落强度、丢包率、量化误差等)和网络资源(如信道能级、数据传输率/数据包长度等)之间的复杂数学关系及其对于通讯质量和控制性能的影响,正是当前无线网络化系统研究和应用中亟待解决的首要问题。本项目将以通讯和控制联合设计的思想为指导,研究带有无线衰落信道的网络化系统分析和控制问题。具体而言,本项目将建立模拟和数字衰落信道的数学模型,理清网络特性和网络资源之间的数学关系,分别解决静态和动态网络资源分配下通讯和控制的联合设计问题,并运用数值仿真和工业网络平台实验对理论结果予以论证。本项目不仅对丰富和深化现有无线网络化系统的研究具有理论意义,而且对进一步促进无线网络化系统的工业推广具有应用价值。

英文摘要: With the development and integration of theories of information, communication and control, networked systems have attracted increasing attention from researchers and engineers, and they are widely applied in intelligent transportation, industrial automation, advanced manufacturing, and national defense, etc. Under the condition of wireless fading channels, the complex mathematical relationship between network characteristics (e.g., channel fading, packet-loss rate, quantization error, etc.) and network resources (e.g., channel power level, data rate/packet length, etc.), and the effect of the above relationship on communication quality and control performance are urgent problems to be solved in the area of wireless networked systems. Guided by the joint design of communication and control, this project will study the analysis and control of networked systems over wireless fading channels. In particular, this project will present the mathematical models of both analog and digital fading channels, and further clarify the relationship between network characteristics and network resources. This project will also address the joint design of communication and control for the cases with static and dynamic network resource allocation, respectively.
