中文摘要: 多功能多模式数字阵列雷达在复杂环境中的微弱目标信息获取方面具有重要的应用前景。进一步提升数字阵列雷达系统检测及估计性能的关键技术之一在于通过波形优化设计增加发射波形自由度。本课题从建立贴近工程实际的目标、有源干扰/色噪声及杂波模型入手,基于适当的系统性能评价准则,针对多输入多输出及相控阵两种数字阵列雷达工作模式,研究有源干扰/色噪声及杂波背景中在发射波形总功率约束下的最优及稳健波形优化算法,分析优化波形与目标及其背景之间的关系,阐明不同模式下波形设计方法的区别与联系。为了使得波形设计结果更加实用化,本课题进而考虑在发射通道等功率约束、发射波形恒模约束及波形有限相位约束下的波形优化算法。本课题的研究工作将为推动雷达新技术的发展提供重要参考价值。

英文摘要: Multifunction Digital Array Radar (DAR) that can operate in multiple modes has great potentials in detection and acquisition of weak targets in complex environments. Aiming to further enhance the system detection performance and estimation accuracy of DAR, we will study probing signal design to increase the degrees of freedom (DOF). This project firstly establishes realistic model for target, jamming/colored noise and clutter. Then with appropriate performance metric for DAR, we will study both the optimum and robust waveform optimization problems under the transmitted power constraint in jamming/colored noise and clutter respectively, for various operating modes of DAR, i.e., the DAR in multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) mode and in a phased array (PA) mode, respectively. Moreover, we will analyze the relationship between the optimized waveform and the target as well as its background. Furthermore, the distinctions and connections between the waveform design methods under various operating modes will be demonstrated. Afterwards, in order to satisfy the practical requirements in radar systems, we will work on the waveform design problem under the uniform elemental power constraint or/and the constant-envelope constraint, the finite alphabet constant-envelope constraint respectively.
